Our favorite crystal brand has the newest Swarovski Mo on the online shoppe: the Swarovski Jubilee Mo.

Swarovski Jubilee Mo, Lovlots Limited Edition 2015

Swarovski Jubilee Mo, Limited Edition 2015

The Swarovski Mo herd welcomes the largest, priciest mo cow to the ever expanding Swarovski Lovlots family. There are other tall cows in the Mo Herd, but they are only about 3.5″ tall. The retired tall mos include

Swarovski Jubilee Mo is clear, with a golden shadow coating. It features laser engraved floating chatons. Jubilee Mo is like the Swarovski Grandmother Mo of all the mo cows…. the Swarovski giant mo stands over 7″ tall!

On the crystal brand’s web site, it indicates that Limited Edition Jubilee Mo will be available only in 2015.

Congratulations to the Lovlots Mo character celebrating 10 mo-arvelous years!

Last year we heard rumors of reorganization of the product lines that they classify crystal figures into.  Examples of such product lines include Silver Crystal, Crystal Moments, Lovlots, Soulmates, and so forth.  But now, in 2013, some of those very well known names are a part of history as new product line names have officially rolled out.

There are 4 main product lines: Swarovski Symbols, Swarovski Characters, Swarovski Nature, and Swarovski Art and Statement.  There are further groupings within each of the crystal product lines.

What has to be the biggest surprise is the disappearance of the Silver Crystal name that Swarovski has become so famous for, and even trademarked.  Silver Crystal is now Crystal Nature.  Crystal Paradise has been replaced with Mother Nature.  And Soulmates has been replaced with Contemporary Nature.  These 3 groups: Swarovski Crystal Nature, Swarovski Mother Nature, and Swarovski Contemporary Nature, comprise the product line Swarovski Nature.

Swarovski Characters is a product line that is easier to decipher and understand.  Swarovski Characters consists of: Swarovski Disney figurines, Swarovski Hello Kitty figurines, and all the Swarovski Lovlots figurines.  The Lovlots group consists of: Limited Edition Mos, Emotis, Kris Bears, Bo Bears, Happy Ducks, and the families of Lovlots Pioneers, Lovlots Gang of dogs, Lovlots House of Cats, Lovlots City Park, Lovlots Circus, Lovlots Sealife, Lovlots Birds on Broadway, and new in 2013, the Lovlots Dinosaurs and Lovlots Erika and Elliot.

Swarovski Symbols seems to be more of a catch-all group for the balance of the more affordable crystal offerings.  The symbols group features 3 groups that seem fairly self explanatory:  Universal Symbols (formerly known as crystal moments), Seasonal Symbols (where it seems Swarovski is going to separate offerings that go with spring/Easter, and Christmas), and lastly Asian Symbols (for ornaments and zodiac figurines).

Swarovski Art & Statement to me, simply means things I cannot afford!  The only group in this product line is crystal myriad.  Swarovski is also using this group for other numbered limited editions.

Swarovski discusses this more in the SCS member magazine that has been recently arriving in mailboxes.  The article is on pages 30-31 in ‘ask Ann-Sophie’.

Part of me is wondering if Swarovski is dropping the term ‘Silver Crystal’ due to the change of Swarovski’s new formula….no lead, no silver?  Or perhaps that was just a coincidence?

So, prepare yourself for changes within publications, web sites, or software to see how they may deal with the changes in the Swarovski product lines!

Swarovski has added yet 2 more ducks to the Lovlots Happy Ducks group:  Swarovski Lifeguard Duck and Swarovski Sweetheart Duck!

Swarovski Sweetheart Happy Duck (left) and Swarovski Lifeguard Happy Duck (right)

Swarovski Lovlots Happy Ducks in 2013:
Sweetheart (left) and Lifeguard (right)

Swarovski Lifeguard Duck is a yellow duck (like Sunny Sam and Sunny Steve), accessorized with white shades (sunglasses), a miniature lifeguard float strapped to him, and LIFEGUARD painted on the side of the duck.  Swarovski identifies this Lovlots figurine with system # 1143443.   Verena Castelein is credited with the cute duck design.  The MSRP is $130.

Swarovski Sweetheart Duck is a pink duck with some heart-shaped decorations attached above the tail area.   Swarovski identifies this Lovlots figurine with system # 1143438.   Verena Castelein is credited with the cute duck design. The MSRP is $80.

Since inception in 2010, the crystal has launched over 20 Happy Duck intro “duck” tions  :

  • 2010: 7 Happy Ducks, plus a couple Swarovski Limited Edition Pink Duck figurines
  • 2011: 6 Happy Ducks and a Limited Edition Royal Wedding Happy Duck pair
  • 2012: 5 Happy Ducks including Joyful Josh (green), Lovely Lucky (lavender), Crocodile Duck (light green), Punk Duck (clear), and Sir and Lady Ducks (various colors-formalwear)

For a complete list of the Happy Ducks, this information can be found on the Swarovski Lovlots page of Crystal Exchange America site.

Collectors who are Happy Duck Hunting can find the retired Lovlots Happy Ducks in the Lovlots and Zodiac category of the Crystal Exchange America store.

2013 has already welcomed a plethora of new product on the crystal giant’s own web site.  However, crystal collectors appreciate it more when the new figurines are limited edition designs.  One such new product is the Swarovski Limited Edition Kris Bear.

Swarovski Lovlots Kris Bear, 2013 Limited Edition

Swarovski 2013 Limited Edition Kris Bear

This Swarovski Kris Bear was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Kris Bear figurine. This new figurine is about 1.5″ tall and retails for $100.  Swarovski identifies it with system #1143456.  They provide credit for the design to Keiko Arai. Kris Bear sports a special pink heart necklace and the bear has “2013” engraved on the foot.

It is hard to believe that the original Swarovski Kris Bear figurine was introduced that long ago (1993)!  In the 1990’s, the crystal brand was not quick to add Kris Bears to the Silver Crystal product line with only 1 to 3 figures every other year:

The next 40 Kris Bear figurines were launched 2005 to present day.  In 2008, Swarovski began incorporating Kris Bear into Christmas ornaments, promoting  annual edition Kris Bear Ornaments.  (As of 2012, Swarovski continues this trend.)  Other Swarovski Limited Edition Kris Bears include: Santa Kris Bear in 2006 and Halloween Kris Bear in 2011.  And we could probably go on and on with all the different ones!

So, if you like the Lovlots Kris Bear figurines, you will want to check out the new Limited Edition Swarovski Kris Bear on the crystal brand’s web site, as well as the other two new ones just launched this month:

In 2012, Swarovski moved the Kris Bear family of figurines into the Swarovski Lovlots group. If you are looking for any of the retired or discontinued Kris Bear Figurines, look at the Crystal Exchange America site in the Lovlots and Zodiac category of the store.  Kris Bear Ornaments can be found in the Christmas & Ornaments category of the store.

Occasionally, we get some unusual requests from clients, who are simply ‘consumers’, but not Swarovski collectors.   Such requests that we have received in the past 3 months are for clients looking for the Swarovski Large Flower Mo and the Swarovski Blue Flower Mo.  Of course, being a Swarovski collector, I know that there is only ONE Swarovski Flower Mo.  But clients have a general idea of figurines they want to purchase, without the correct figurine name and have no idea of identification #’s to know for certain the item they want to purchase.  Furthermore, clients don’t necessarily perceive us as Swarovski experts, but only as an online store and could care less if the name is right or wrong as long as they get the figurine they have pictured in their mind.  (Would be great if we had a mind-reading store!)

Clients requesting the Lovlots Large Flower Mo or Lovlots Blue Flower Mo, generally indicate that they are certain of the Mo Cows existence as they have a friend that owns one, or that they have seen it elsewhere on the internet, like ebay (where sellers never? make mistakes).   Check out this Large Blue Flower Mo auction that ended March 2012.

Official Swarovski Flower Mo Cow

Swarovski Flower Mo, Small Green Mo Cow, Limited Edition

Sometimes called the Swarovski Large Flower Mo or Swarovski Blue Flower Mo

Swarovski Belle Mo, Large Blue Mo Cow

What clients are referring to as the Large Flower Mo or Blue Flower Mo is actually Swarovski Belle Mo!  But naturally, when you explain that you believe they are looking for Belle Mo, they will correct you saying it is the Large Flower Mo or Blue Flower Mo  (and at that, it is time to give up and simply help them to decide if they wish to proceed with the purchase).

To set the record straight….there is only ONE Swarovski Flower Mo, and it is a small light green cow with multi-colored flowers on it.  Flower Mo is about 1.75” long and was a limited edition Swarovski cow available only in 2009.  The larger cow mo with flowers is Swarovski Belle Mo.  This cow is light blue in color, with blue flowers on it.  Belle Mo is about 3.5” high and was available 2010 through 2012.  The design of both of these Mo Cows is credited to Edith Mair.

Swarovski Flower Mo one of the more expensive Mos to purchase, with an average selling range now at $290 – $350!

Should the crystal brand ever release another Lovlots Mo Cow decorated with flowers, an update to this article will likely be required to prevent further Swarovski Flower Mo confusion.

Swarovski Flower Mo (Limited Edition) and Swarovski Belle Mo can be found at Crystal Exchange America in the Lovlots and Zodiac store category.

In 2012, the crystal giant introduced the Bo Bear figurines into the Swarovski Lovlots collection.  Four hip teddies joined several other groups in the growing Lovlots community of personality-filled characters.

In 2012, the Lovlots Bo Bear group consisted of:

In 2013, Swarovski has added two more very cool bears to the sloth of Bo Bears…

Swarovski Blues Bo Bear (left) and Swarovski Hip Hop Bo Bear (right)

Lovlots Blues Bo Bear (left) and Lovlots Hip Hop Bo Bear (right)

  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Blues Bo.  This way cool bo is lavender with some gold bling and a purple baseball hat.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Hip-Hop Bo.  This way cool bo is dressed in black, sporting his shades, a tie, and black hat.

All six of the Swarovski Bo Bear figurines were designed by Peter Heidegger.  And all six characters retail in the price range of $150 to $160.

Here are Swarovski’s official product descriptions for the 2013 Bo Bear introductions.

Lovlots Hip Hop Bo Bear – Hip hop is my life! Hip-hop Bo spends most of his time busting rhymes. His head shines in Provence Lavender crystal with a lacquered violet body and Crystal Metallic Light Gold arms and feet. He wears a cap in plastic material and golden necklace both featuring the BB logo. Not intended for children 15 and under. The Bo Bear comes with a unique metal tag that can be used as a key chain or bag charm.

Lovlots Blues Bo Bear – I am too cool for school! This funky character shines in Crystal Silvershade with Jet Hematite crystal arms and feet. He wears metal sunglasses and a lacquered suit, and a hat in a black plastic material. Not intended for children 15 and under. The Bo Bear comes with a unique metal tag that can be used as a key chain or bag charm.

I’m looking forward to seeing where the crystal brand goes with this collection of Swarovski bears.  Will they continue to grow?  Or will Swarovski collectors not really latch on to this line of animals?  Only time will tell!  Crystal Exchange America has an up-to-date page on the Swarovski Lovlots for collectors looking for a summary of the figurines in the community.

One of the more interesting Swarovski crystal figurines is the 2013 Limited Edition Swarovski Hot Chili Mo!  The Swarovski product description is as follows:

Hot! Hot! Hot! Dressed in her fiery costume, Hot Chili Mo will spice up your life. She sparkles in Fireopal crystal with a Citrine crystal head and ears, wearing a black elastic necklace with a hot chili pendant. This exclusive Limited Edition is engraved with the year of issue 2013. Not intended for children 15 and under.

Lovlots Hot Chili Mo, Swarovski Limited Edition in 2013

Swarovski Hot Chili Mo, Limited Edition in 2013

This Limited Edition Mo Cow will be out to pasture with all her 16 mo sisters, which began launching in 2006.  The last four to launch in 2012 were:  Swarovski Angel Mo, Swarovski Bubble Mo, Swarovski Lucky Mo, and Swarovski Magic Mo.

This new Lovlots Hot Chili Mo was designed by Keiko Arai.  The Swarovski assigned system # is 1173065.  Swarovski Hot Chili Mo retails for $70.  The chili pepper on this mo cow is a necklace, so I’m not sure if it is a crystal component or made of some other substance (since Swarovski is using other materials on some of their figurines….namely the Swarovski Emoti figurines)

As the official launch date of Hot Chili Mo was just a few days ago, Swarovski crystal fanatics should be able to place their order soon at the Swarovski shoppe or perhaps find one at their local Swarovski boutique!

If you are interested to purchase retired Limited Edition Cows (originally part of the) Swarovski Lovlots collection, check out Crystal Exchange America in the Limited Edition Swarovski category.

The Swarovski Lovlots showcase is showing some colorful new characters…the most noticeable being the new Swarovski Dinosaurs!

Swarovski Lovlots Dinosaurs: Big T, Brett, Pippa, Stephanie, & Travis

New for 2013….Swarovski Lovlots Dinosaurs

Swarovski has created 5 new characters, all types of dinosaurs, who are a part of Lovlots community according to the crystal giant’s own web site:

The five crystal dinosaurs are definitely out of the ordinary.  In Swarovski trends from past years, there has been a limited edition for the new group.   As none of these dinosaurs are identified as limited editions, I’m wondering if there is yet another Swarovski Dinosaur to be released yet in 2013?

Swarovski has released several other crystal dinosaurs:

  • Swarovski Dino 7550 000 010 / 268 204.  Available 2002 through 2005 from Swarovski.
  • Swarovski Lovlots Jay D. Dino – 9400 000 052 / 832 181.  Available 2006 through 2007 from Swarovski.

So cheers to Swarovski’s newest characters representing the enormous, extinct reptiles of the earth!

The free web site www.RetiredSwarovski.com shows a list of Swarovski Lovlots that are scheduled to retire by the end of 2012.  The list contains just over 30 Swarovski Lovlots figurines that will not be offered at Swarovski.com or boutiques in 2013.

Bo Bear So Brilliant Retires in 2012, part of the Swarovski Lovlots

Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bear So Brilliant Retiring in 2012

Included in the Swarovski Lovlots Retirements list are:

  • 7 Happy Ducks
  • 7 Kris Bears
  • 3 Limited Edition Mos
  • More!

To me, the biggest surprise was to see the Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bear So Brilliant in the list of retirements.  Why?  Because the Bo Bear community was just launched in July, 2012.  This means that Swarovski  is offering this figurine for less than 6 months.  While the crystal brand has never advertised this Lovlots as a Limited Edition figurine, I think it certainly could have been!  My curiosity is now a bit peaked about the actual quantity produced given its brief availability.

For a more complete list of 2012 Swarovski Lovlots retirements, RetiredSwarovski.com is the place to go.  To purchase retired or Limited Edition Swarovski Lovlots, check out the “Lovlots and Zodiac” category at Crystal Exchange America’s web site.

Almost one month ago exactly, I wrote a post about the newest Lovlots clould community that was soon to be released…. Swarovski Emotis.  Today, I got an email from Swarovski, (in German!) that the crystal giant has them available in their online store!

Lovlots Emotis: left to right: Hope, Energy, Anger, Love, Curiosity, and Burning Desire

Swarovski Emotis: Hope, Energy, Anger, Love, Curiosity, & Burning Desire

  • Swarovski Emoti Love
Official Swarovski description: Love is in the air! With a heart filled with love, this little pig spreads love throughout Lovlots City. Crafted in Kakadured crystal with Fuchsia pants and clear crystal feet, this cute design is finished with a heart in fuchsia-toned metal.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Hope
Official Swarovski description:  “Look on the bright side! Always seeing the sunny side of life, this Emoti brings optimism to Lovlots City. The body in Violet Moonlight crystal and head in Crystal Moonlight accentuate the colorful rainbow in synthetic material.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Energy
Official Swarovski description:  “It’s electrifying! With a playful lightning bolt, this Emoti energizes the Lovlots. Crafted in Crystal Moonlight, Rosaline Moonlight, and Light Siam crystal, this character sports a cloud in silver-tone synthetic material with a silicon rubber lightning bolt.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Curiosity
Official Swarovski description:  “What’s up? With its curious nature, this little rabbit is always asking why? One ear shines in Crystal Moonlight, while the other sparkles in Peridot Aurore Boreale crystal in the shape of a question mark.“
  • Swarovski Emoti Burning Desire
Official Swarovski description: “I’ve got to have this! Everyone will want to have this little bear with flaming red hair burning with desire. With an Aquamarine Aurore Boreale crystal body and red silicon hair.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Anger
Official Swarovski description:  “I’m about to explode! Resembling a volcano, this Emoti is steaming with anger. Sparkling details in Fireopal Silver Shade and Crystal Moonlight crystal are highlighted by clouds of steam in matt white synthetic material.“

All the Lovlots Emotis have an MSRP of $90 each. Personally, I’m not too fond of these, but who knows…there may be a segment of the Swarovski-collecting population that does.  And we may find a whole new world of emotions that we never even knew existed, that is…. until the Swarovski Lovlots Emotis came along!

Jul 112012

In June, our favorite crystal brand announced that the Swarovski Lovlots Angel Mo would be released July 9, 2012 joining a series of other Lovlots Mo cows.

Swarovski Lovlots Christmas Angel Mo, Limited Edition 2012

Swarovski Christmas Angel Mo, Limited Edition 2012

Well, they did make the Swarovski Angel Mo available online, but with some limitations as to who can purchase it.  While I (in the USA) was not able to add it to my shopping cart, if you are in any other country, you can add it to you cart!  Check out the product availability based on country of residence:

I find this interesting in that according to the Swarovski members’ only announcement which has since been removed from their website, Lovlots Angel Mo is a limited edition available only in 2012.  I know the hype….I am a secondary market dealer that specializes in Swarovski.  It means that some collectors will purchase a hoard of figurines, then sell them on Ebay at inflated prices or list them on our site at above retail price as the owner themselves wants to get in on the action of making some money.  While it can be perceived as a win-win for me (the dealer) and the owner (the seller), it is certainly a losing situation for the buying collector who simply does not want to take a chance that it could be sold out prior to it being available here in the USA.

Honestly, I don’t like how commercial Christmas has become….with artificial Christmas trees out mid-summer, decorations hitting stores after Labor Day, and so forth.  All this before the Halloween trick or treating event or the Thanksgiving turkey is even cooked.

While I can certainly appreciate the crystal giant putting on the brakes to ensure that Swarovski Christmas Ornaments and merchandise release dates are appropriate for the figurines, I think that delaying the Swarovski Christmas Angel Mo only for the USA collectors was an incredulous decision.

Straight to the point, this is going to upset crystal fanatics in the USA.  What could this mean to the crystal brand and its followers?

  • Disappointed collectors.  Collectors who ‘want it now’ will likely be forced to pay ‘above market prices’ to ensure they have the Lovlots Angel Mo in their crystal collection now.
  • Reduced Lovlots Angel Mo profits.  Dedicated Swarovski crystal collectors are not going to wait nearly 3 more months to get it online, instead, they will probably turn to the online auctions to buy it now and will not buy later from authorized source(s).
  • Reliance on other distribution channels.  Collectors will build bonds with new channels: secondary market brokers, gray market dealers, and eBay dealers.

This is not about ‘fairness’…. it is about the loyal following of Swarovski crystal collectors and the reality of what goes on post-sale of limited edition Swarovski figurines.  I really hope that when it comes to limited edition releases, that Swarovski will settle on a world-wide launch date to eliminate the mini-frenzy that could be bearing down upon the collectors in the USA.

I recently found a Swarovski press release online, that announces the newest Lovlots, the Swarovski Bo Bears and the Swarovski Emotis.

According to the news release, “Lovlots Emotis spread vibrant feelings through the air”.  There will be six of them when the Swarovski Emotis launch from the crystal brand’s web site.  They are:

Lovlots Emotis....Crystal Figurines by Swarovski

Swarovski Lovlots Emotis

  • Swarovski Emoti Anger – This Lovlots Emoti Anger appears to be red with rage and steam rising from his brain, just as if he’s blown his top.
  • Swarovski Emoti Curiosity – This Lovlots Emoti Curiosity obviously questions everything in the world….with one ear even shaped like a question mark.
  • Swarovski Emoti Desire – This Lovlots Emoti Desire is burning with desire, with red flames shooting up from his hair.
  • Swarovski Emoti Energy – This Lovlots Emoti Energy is being stricken by a lightening bolt, with a cloud hovering just above the eyes.
  • Swarovski Emoti Hope – This Lovlots Emoti Hope has a four-colored rainbow spouting from the head.
  • Swarovski Emoti Love – This Lovlots Emoti Love is pink, and resembles a pig to me.   Its heart appears to be pounding with love.

These figurines, like the Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bears, will have other non-crystal components on them as well.  Swarovski will combine faceted crystal with plastic, metal and epoxy for a more modern appeal.

The Lovlots Emotis will not actually reside IN the Lovlots City, but rather in the clouds above them, hovering above the earth.  Swarovski indicates that the Emotis community is invisible to the earth-bound characters, and cast spells on them.  Such spells may cause Lovlots characters to become smitten, frustrated, or energized.

The Swarovski news release did not provide details on a launch date, but I would expect it to be soon since the Bo Bears (in the same release) will be available in just a few weeks.

Swarovski crystal fanatics may view a complete list of Swarovski Lovlots releases, 2006 through 2012 at the Crystal Exchange America web site..

I don’t really “get” these Lovlots Emoti figurines.   I know that in the past, when the crystal giant produced people-figures, the figurines did not go over all that well with Swarovski collectors.  Specifically, I’m referring to the Masquerade trilogy: Swarovski Pierrot (1999), Swarovski Columbine (2000), and Swarovski Harlequin (2001).  And also the Magic of Dance trilogy: Swarovski Isadora (2002), Swarovski Antonio (2003), and Swarovski Anna (2004).  It will be interesting to see how these new Lovlots are received by traditional crystal collectors and newer collectors too.

Early last week, I shared information I found in a Swarovski announcement about their newest members of the Lovlots assortment ….Swarovski Bo Bears.  Today, I have more information about the Lovlots Bo Bears!

The official news from the crystal brand’s own web sites indicate that they will reside on the Lovlots Campus.  The Bo Bears are a ‘contemporary interpretation of the popular teddy bear’.

Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bear Crystal Teddy Bear Figurines

Swarovski Bo Bears

From my research, all the Swarovski teddy bears appear to be about 2 ½” tall, and will retail in the $125 to $175 price range.  Left to right in the Bo Bears Campus image are…

  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Brilliant.  So Brilliant Bo Bear will have 70 crystals set in the Pointiage® technique.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Heavy Metal.  Heavy Metal Bo Bear sounds like it may be a punk rocker, or perhaps the goth one in the group with his dark, skull attire.  This one surely reminds me of the Soulmates Skull released in August, 2011!
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Sweet.  So Sweet Bo Bear is the ideal Valentine gift, a great way to say “I love you”.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Naughty But Nice.  Naughty But Nice Bo Bear will be ‘the one to watch’.  It will be appearing as both an angel and a devilish figurine.

Swarovski crystal fanatics can find out all the past and new Swarovski Lovlots releases, 2006 through present.

The Lovlots Bo Bears are scheduled for release in their online shoppe July 9.   Bo Bear Jewelry, Charms, and Accessories are set for release the following week July 16.

Crystal collectors who enjoy the teddy bear crystal figurines can find hundreds of retired Swarovski Bear crystal figurines at Crystal Exchange America.  Simply look in the Animals category or Lovlots category of their onine store.

Make room for more wildlife in the Lovlots City!  The crystal giant shares information about the initial sleuth of bears in its Swarovski Bo Bear launch:

  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Heavy Metal.  This Lovlots Bo Bear sounds like he may be a punk rocker, or perhaps the goth one in the group with his dark, skull attire.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Naughty But Nice.  This Lovlots Bo Bear will be ‘the one to watch’.  He’ll be appearing as both an angel and a devilish figurine.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Brilliant.  This Lovlots Bo Bear will have 70 crystals set in the Pointiage® technique.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Sweet.  Swarovski does not say much about the characteristics of this Lovlots Bo Bear, only that it is a great way to say “I love you”.  They  leave it to our imagination!

Swarovski did not include any product images with the news.  From the sketch of teddy bears with the announcement, the Bo Bears appear a bit ‘Hello Kitty’-like to me with a large head and product cuteness drawing in the consumer collector.

The crystal brand did some product realignment at the beginning of the year, with the end result being that the Swarovski Kris Bears are Lovlots Kris Bears.  Hopefully the Kris Bears will be glad to see the Bo Bears in their Lovlots city turf.

In the Swarovski News announcements to its SCS members, the company reveals that the Swarovski Bo Bears will not be ‘exclusively crystal’ figurines.  They provide a hint that there will be ‘other various materials’.  Yet another aspect that Swarovski is leaving for crystal fanatics to figure out.

Swarovski Bo Bear figurines will be available on the online shoppe in early July.  About 1 week later, there will be accessorizing jewelry and charms in the online shoppe.  There is no mention of figurine size or price point.  Perhaps since Swarovski is incorporating ‘other materials’ into the products, these teddy bears may be less expensive?

Crystal collectors who enjoy the teddy bear crystal figurines can find hundreds of retired Swarovski Bear crystal figurines at Crystal Exchange America.  Simply look in the Animals category or Lovlots category of their onine store.

Swarovski has announce to its SCS members that another Lovlots crystal cow is just weeks away from launching….Swarovski Magic Mo!

Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo - 2012 Limited Online Edition

Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo

Swarovski Magic Mo is dressed as a wizard for the Halloween holiday.  This purple Lovlots cow is decorated with yellow stars and yellow moons.  Magic Mo has her own special accessory…an orange jack-o-lantern.  Magic Mo and her sidekick pumpkin are both wearing matching pointed black hats.

Magic Mo is an online limited edition.  The Swarovski sneak preview indicates that she will be available for purchase in late August of 2012′ but there is no mention of price.  I am thinking that the price point will be higher than the swarovski bubble mo (which is $55) because of the added pumpkin.

It seems a bit surprising the the crystal giant is releasing so many online limited edition Lovlots mo cows…apparently they must be big hits to do 2 or 3 each year. The first one in 2012 was the Swarovski Bubble Mo, which launched at the end of May.  Then the Swarovski Angel Mo, which will launch in July.

So give the Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo a mystical, warm welcome to the Lovlots crystal cow herd!

Swarovski collectors wanting to know more about the Swarovski Lovlots and other limited edition Lovlots can read more at the Crystal Exchange America web site!
