It was 13-14 months ago when we posted Swarovski Hello Kitty News that a Hello Kitty product line was launching from the crystal brand’s web site.

In its first launch, there were about 3 crystal figurines, a 2011 Swarovski Hello Kitty Limited Edition, and lots of jewelry and accessories.

Here we are, one year later, and the crystal giant has added more Swarovski crystal figurines, limited editions, and accessories to the Swarovski Hello Kitty product line.  The 2012 Swarovski Hello Kitty releases mostly have a ‘rock inspired design.  As you look at each of the new introductions, you will see that Hello Kitty is connecting with her wilder side and she is less about cute and innocent.

Swarovski Hello Kitty 2012 Figurines: Limited Editions and Crystal Figurines

Swarovski Hello Kitty: LE 88, LE 2012, Hello Kitty Gold Bow, & Hello Kitty Santa

  • Swarovski Hello Kitty Limited Edition 2012 – This Hello Kitty figurine is limited to just 88 units world-wide, with a retail price tag of $8000.  It very much resembles the Hello Kitty Gold Bow, but this one is using the glittering crystal Pointiage® technique.
  • Swarovski Hello Kitty Hearts, Limited Edition 2012 – This Hello Kitty figurine is clear and she is wearing a pretty pink dress and lovely rose-colored Pointiage® bow consisting of 600 crystals.  The Swarovski shoppe indicates that she is over 8” tall and has a retail price tag of $600.  It appears that this figurine should be available for most of 2012.
  • Swarovski Hello Kitty Gold Bow – This Hello Kitty figurine is crystal satin (gray) instead of clear and she sports a black jacket and yellow bow (instead of red or pink).   While the Swarovski shoppe indicates that she is over 8” tall, I have a hard time thinking this is true with a retail price of $140.
  • Swarovski Hello Kitty Santa – This Hello Kitty figurine is clear naturally wearing a Santa-red jacket, a Santa hat, and a Santa-red bow.   The candy cane she is holding appears to be Santa red (siam) and crystal moonlight (one of the colors that the 2011 AE polar bear cubs wars available in). While the Swarovski shoppe indicates that she is over 8” tall, I have a hard time thinking this is true with a retail price of $140.  While I did not find an official launch date for this figurine, I’m assuming that it is October since that is when most of the holiday figurines will be available from Swarovski.

(See Swarovski Hello Kitty Size Upate post from August 4 for correct figurine dimensions.)

Other Swarovski Hello Kitty Accessories include:

  • Swarovski Hello Kitty Charms – The 2 new charms are the Hello Kitty Rock Charm and Hello Kitty Guitar Charm.  The Hello Kitty Candy Charm is on sale at 50% off if you are looking for a deal!
  • Swarovski Hello Kitty Fashion Accessories  – Of the 12 items in this category, there are 3 new items and 5 items that are 50% off.
  • Swarovski Hello Kitty Jewelry –  There are a few new items and plenty of sale items. In this category, there are plenty of Hello Kitty Pendants, Hello Kitty Bracelets, Hello Kitty Necklaces, Hello Kitty Pierced Earrings, and Hello Kitty Rings.

So, if you are a Hello Kitty fanatic, check out the new rock-inspired figurines and jewelry at the Swarovski shoppe now!

Almost one month ago exactly, I wrote a post about the newest Lovlots clould community that was soon to be released…. Swarovski Emotis.  Today, I got an email from Swarovski, (in German!) that the crystal giant has them available in their online store!

Lovlots Emotis: left to right: Hope, Energy, Anger, Love, Curiosity, and Burning Desire

Swarovski Emotis: Hope, Energy, Anger, Love, Curiosity, & Burning Desire

  • Swarovski Emoti Love
Official Swarovski description: Love is in the air! With a heart filled with love, this little pig spreads love throughout Lovlots City. Crafted in Kakadured crystal with Fuchsia pants and clear crystal feet, this cute design is finished with a heart in fuchsia-toned metal.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Hope
Official Swarovski description:  “Look on the bright side! Always seeing the sunny side of life, this Emoti brings optimism to Lovlots City. The body in Violet Moonlight crystal and head in Crystal Moonlight accentuate the colorful rainbow in synthetic material.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Energy
Official Swarovski description:  “It’s electrifying! With a playful lightning bolt, this Emoti energizes the Lovlots. Crafted in Crystal Moonlight, Rosaline Moonlight, and Light Siam crystal, this character sports a cloud in silver-tone synthetic material with a silicon rubber lightning bolt.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Curiosity
Official Swarovski description:  “What’s up? With its curious nature, this little rabbit is always asking why? One ear shines in Crystal Moonlight, while the other sparkles in Peridot Aurore Boreale crystal in the shape of a question mark.“
  • Swarovski Emoti Burning Desire
Official Swarovski description: “I’ve got to have this! Everyone will want to have this little bear with flaming red hair burning with desire. With an Aquamarine Aurore Boreale crystal body and red silicon hair.”
  • Swarovski Emoti Anger
Official Swarovski description:  “I’m about to explode! Resembling a volcano, this Emoti is steaming with anger. Sparkling details in Fireopal Silver Shade and Crystal Moonlight crystal are highlighted by clouds of steam in matt white synthetic material.“

All the Lovlots Emotis have an MSRP of $90 each. Personally, I’m not too fond of these, but who knows…there may be a segment of the Swarovski-collecting population that does.  And we may find a whole new world of emotions that we never even knew existed, that is…. until the Swarovski Lovlots Emotis came along!

In June, our favorite crystal brand announced that the Swarovski Lovlots Angel Mo would be released July 9, 2012 joining a series of other Lovlots Mo cows.

Swarovski Lovlots Christmas Angel Mo, Limited Edition 2012

Swarovski Christmas Angel Mo, Limited Edition 2012

Well, they did make the Swarovski Angel Mo available online, but with some limitations as to who can purchase it.  While I (in the USA) was not able to add it to my shopping cart, if you are in any other country, you can add it to you cart!  Check out the product availability based on country of residence:

I find this interesting in that according to the Swarovski members’ only announcement which has since been removed from their website, Lovlots Angel Mo is a limited edition available only in 2012.  I know the hype….I am a secondary market dealer that specializes in Swarovski.  It means that some collectors will purchase a hoard of figurines, then sell them on Ebay at inflated prices or list them on our site at above retail price as the owner themselves wants to get in on the action of making some money.  While it can be perceived as a win-win for me (the dealer) and the owner (the seller), it is certainly a losing situation for the buying collector who simply does not want to take a chance that it could be sold out prior to it being available here in the USA.

Honestly, I don’t like how commercial Christmas has become….with artificial Christmas trees out mid-summer, decorations hitting stores after Labor Day, and so forth.  All this before the Halloween trick or treating event or the Thanksgiving turkey is even cooked.

While I can certainly appreciate the crystal giant putting on the brakes to ensure that Swarovski Christmas Ornaments and merchandise release dates are appropriate for the figurines, I think that delaying the Swarovski Christmas Angel Mo only for the USA collectors was an incredulous decision.

Straight to the point, this is going to upset crystal fanatics in the USA.  What could this mean to the crystal brand and its followers?

  • Disappointed collectors.  Collectors who ‘want it now’ will likely be forced to pay ‘above market prices’ to ensure they have the Lovlots Angel Mo in their crystal collection now.
  • Reduced Lovlots Angel Mo profits.  Dedicated Swarovski crystal collectors are not going to wait nearly 3 more months to get it online, instead, they will probably turn to the online auctions to buy it now and will not buy later from authorized source(s).
  • Reliance on other distribution channels.  Collectors will build bonds with new channels: secondary market brokers, gray market dealers, and eBay dealers.

This is not about ‘fairness’…. it is about the loyal following of Swarovski crystal collectors and the reality of what goes on post-sale of limited edition Swarovski figurines.  I really hope that when it comes to limited edition releases, that Swarovski will settle on a world-wide launch date to eliminate the mini-frenzy that could be bearing down upon the collectors in the USA.

We have terrific news for bird fanatics and Swarovski crystal collectors….the Swarovski Gouldian Finches are available for purchase in the Swarovski online shoppe!

Gouldian Finches

Swarovski Gouldian Finches

I can’t say that I have previously heard of this particular breed of bird.  But oh my….they are so beautiful!  The male Gouldian Finch’s colors are so vibrant.  It’s not a wonder that these birds are also known as the Rainbow Finch.

The Swarovski Gouldian Finches are 2 brightly colored birds, perched on a silver-colored metal stand.  The bird pair stands about 4 ½ inches tall.  The Gouldian Finches are in the Swarovski Paradise product line, which is where the same product line that includes many of the other colored-bird crystal figurines.  The article number for the Swarovski Gouldian Finches is 1141675. The crystal brand gives Dominic Schöpf credit for the stunning design of these newest rainbow birds.  While the Swarovski Peridot Gouldian Finches retail for $690,  something tells me that they are completely worth it looking at the image in the online shoppe!

The Swarovski Gouldian Finches would look great displayed with other Swarovski Birds.  If you are a bird lover and crystal collector, check out the discount and retired Swarovski birds available at Crystal Exchange America!

According to a press release from Swarovski, the crystal brand will be offering Swarovski Chinese Ornaments in July, 2012.  There are four small ornaments that are a part of the Chinese Window Ornament collection.

All four of the Swarovski Chinese Ornaments utilize the newest Crystal Pixel technology, which allows the crystal to sparkle from both sides.  The ornaments are decorated with a red silk tassel and retail for $55 each.

Fu, Shou, Coin Flower, and Coin Branch Swarovski Chinese Ornaments

Left to Right, Swarovski Chinese Ornaments: Fu, Shou, Coin Flower, and Coin Branch

The Swarovski Fu Ornament is a Chinese character symbolizing prosperity, well-being, and luck.  The Swarovski System is 117350.  The overall length of the Swarovski Fu Ornament, including the tassel, is over 7 .75” long.

The Swarovski Shou Ornament is a Chinese character that translates as longevity.  The Swarovski System is 117351.   The overall length of the Swarovski Shou Ornament, including the tassel, is over 7 .75” long.

The Swarovski Chinese Coin Ornaments stand for money and wealth.  There are two Swarovski Coin Ornaments in the collection.

Swarovski Coin Flower Ornament – Swarovski System # 1175346.  The overall length of the Coin Flower Ornament, including the tassel, is over 7 .75” long.

Swarovski Coin Branch Ornament – Swarovski System # 1175348.  The overall length of the Coin Branch Ornament, including the tassel, is over 8.5” long.

Swarovski’s news indicates that the new Window Ornaments could be hung in the home, car, or any other small place.

Great news….these new Chinese Window Ornaments do not look nearly as fragile as the Annual Edition Swarovski Ornaments that Swarovski fanatics typically purchase.  That should make them substantially easier and more fun to display!  The new technology used in the Chinese Ornaments is a terrific idea to the innovations by the crystal giant.

I recently found a Swarovski press release online, that announces the newest Lovlots, the Swarovski Bo Bears and the Swarovski Emotis.

According to the news release, “Lovlots Emotis spread vibrant feelings through the air”.  There will be six of them when the Swarovski Emotis launch from the crystal brand’s web site.  They are:

Lovlots Emotis....Crystal Figurines by Swarovski

Swarovski Lovlots Emotis

  • Swarovski Emoti Anger – This Lovlots Emoti Anger appears to be red with rage and steam rising from his brain, just as if he’s blown his top.
  • Swarovski Emoti Curiosity – This Lovlots Emoti Curiosity obviously questions everything in the world….with one ear even shaped like a question mark.
  • Swarovski Emoti Desire – This Lovlots Emoti Desire is burning with desire, with red flames shooting up from his hair.
  • Swarovski Emoti Energy – This Lovlots Emoti Energy is being stricken by a lightening bolt, with a cloud hovering just above the eyes.
  • Swarovski Emoti Hope – This Lovlots Emoti Hope has a four-colored rainbow spouting from the head.
  • Swarovski Emoti Love – This Lovlots Emoti Love is pink, and resembles a pig to me.   Its heart appears to be pounding with love.

These figurines, like the Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bears, will have other non-crystal components on them as well.  Swarovski will combine faceted crystal with plastic, metal and epoxy for a more modern appeal.

The Lovlots Emotis will not actually reside IN the Lovlots City, but rather in the clouds above them, hovering above the earth.  Swarovski indicates that the Emotis community is invisible to the earth-bound characters, and cast spells on them.  Such spells may cause Lovlots characters to become smitten, frustrated, or energized.

The Swarovski news release did not provide details on a launch date, but I would expect it to be soon since the Bo Bears (in the same release) will be available in just a few weeks.

Swarovski crystal fanatics may view a complete list of Swarovski Lovlots releases, 2006 through 2012 at the Crystal Exchange America web site..

I don’t really “get” these Lovlots Emoti figurines.   I know that in the past, when the crystal giant produced people-figures, the figurines did not go over all that well with Swarovski collectors.  Specifically, I’m referring to the Masquerade trilogy: Swarovski Pierrot (1999), Swarovski Columbine (2000), and Swarovski Harlequin (2001).  And also the Magic of Dance trilogy: Swarovski Isadora (2002), Swarovski Antonio (2003), and Swarovski Anna (2004).  It will be interesting to see how these new Lovlots are received by traditional crystal collectors and newer collectors too.

Early last week, I shared information I found in a Swarovski announcement about their newest members of the Lovlots assortment ….Swarovski Bo Bears.  Today, I have more information about the Lovlots Bo Bears!

The official news from the crystal brand’s own web sites indicate that they will reside on the Lovlots Campus.  The Bo Bears are a ‘contemporary interpretation of the popular teddy bear’.

Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bear Crystal Teddy Bear Figurines

Swarovski Bo Bears

From my research, all the Swarovski teddy bears appear to be about 2 ½” tall, and will retail in the $125 to $175 price range.  Left to right in the Bo Bears Campus image are…

  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Brilliant.  So Brilliant Bo Bear will have 70 crystals set in the Pointiage® technique.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Heavy Metal.  Heavy Metal Bo Bear sounds like it may be a punk rocker, or perhaps the goth one in the group with his dark, skull attire.  This one surely reminds me of the Soulmates Skull released in August, 2011!
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Sweet.  So Sweet Bo Bear is the ideal Valentine gift, a great way to say “I love you”.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Naughty But Nice.  Naughty But Nice Bo Bear will be ‘the one to watch’.  It will be appearing as both an angel and a devilish figurine.

Swarovski crystal fanatics can find out all the past and new Swarovski Lovlots releases, 2006 through present.

The Lovlots Bo Bears are scheduled for release in their online shoppe July 9.   Bo Bear Jewelry, Charms, and Accessories are set for release the following week July 16.

Crystal collectors who enjoy the teddy bear crystal figurines can find hundreds of retired Swarovski Bear crystal figurines at Crystal Exchange America.  Simply look in the Animals category or Lovlots category of their onine store.

Make room for more wildlife in the Lovlots City!  The crystal giant shares information about the initial sleuth of bears in its Swarovski Bo Bear launch:

  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Heavy Metal.  This Lovlots Bo Bear sounds like he may be a punk rocker, or perhaps the goth one in the group with his dark, skull attire.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Naughty But Nice.  This Lovlots Bo Bear will be ‘the one to watch’.  He’ll be appearing as both an angel and a devilish figurine.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Brilliant.  This Lovlots Bo Bear will have 70 crystals set in the Pointiage® technique.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Sweet.  Swarovski does not say much about the characteristics of this Lovlots Bo Bear, only that it is a great way to say “I love you”.  They  leave it to our imagination!

Swarovski did not include any product images with the news.  From the sketch of teddy bears with the announcement, the Bo Bears appear a bit ‘Hello Kitty’-like to me with a large head and product cuteness drawing in the consumer collector.

The crystal brand did some product realignment at the beginning of the year, with the end result being that the Swarovski Kris Bears are Lovlots Kris Bears.  Hopefully the Kris Bears will be glad to see the Bo Bears in their Lovlots city turf.

In the Swarovski News announcements to its SCS members, the company reveals that the Swarovski Bo Bears will not be ‘exclusively crystal’ figurines.  They provide a hint that there will be ‘other various materials’.  Yet another aspect that Swarovski is leaving for crystal fanatics to figure out.

Swarovski Bo Bear figurines will be available on the online shoppe in early July.  About 1 week later, there will be accessorizing jewelry and charms in the online shoppe.  There is no mention of figurine size or price point.  Perhaps since Swarovski is incorporating ‘other materials’ into the products, these teddy bears may be less expensive?

Crystal collectors who enjoy the teddy bear crystal figurines can find hundreds of retired Swarovski Bear crystal figurines at Crystal Exchange America.  Simply look in the Animals category or Lovlots category of their onine store.

Swarovski has announce to its SCS members that another Lovlots crystal cow is just weeks away from launching….Swarovski Magic Mo!

Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo - 2012 Limited Online Edition

Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo

Swarovski Magic Mo is dressed as a wizard for the Halloween holiday.  This purple Lovlots cow is decorated with yellow stars and yellow moons.  Magic Mo has her own special accessory…an orange jack-o-lantern.  Magic Mo and her sidekick pumpkin are both wearing matching pointed black hats.

Magic Mo is an online limited edition.  The Swarovski sneak preview indicates that she will be available for purchase in late August of 2012′ but there is no mention of price.  I am thinking that the price point will be higher than the swarovski bubble mo (which is $55) because of the added pumpkin.

It seems a bit surprising the the crystal giant is releasing so many online limited edition Lovlots mo cows…apparently they must be big hits to do 2 or 3 each year. The first one in 2012 was the Swarovski Bubble Mo, which launched at the end of May.  Then the Swarovski Angel Mo, which will launch in July.

So give the Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo a mystical, warm welcome to the Lovlots crystal cow herd!

Swarovski collectors wanting to know more about the Swarovski Lovlots and other limited edition Lovlots can read more at the Crystal Exchange America web site!

Our favorite crystal brand is blessing us with yet another Swarovski Lovlots cow….the Swarovski Angel Mo.

Swarovski Lovlots Angel Mo

Swarovski Angel Mo, soon to be a part of the Lovlots Cow Herd

The Lovlots Angel Mo cow is golden-colored, accented with bronze stars.  Being Angel Mo, she naturally has shimmering wings too.

This limited edition angelic cow will certainly remind Swarovski Santa Mo and the rest of the Swarovski Mo herd of the true meaning of Christmas.

Swarovski did not share the MSRP of Angel Mo in its article for the SCS members.  As the Lovlots mo cows have generally been around $55, I think this may be a reasonable estimate for the upcoming Christmas Lovlots addition.  Since the Angel Mo crystal figurine is available online, collectors will not likely find it at a discount price.  Buyers who want to save money should look for the email vouchers that the crystal brand sends out, and hope there are no exclusions for limited edition figurines.

Swarovski crystal collectors will be able to purchase the Swarovski Angel Mo from the online shoppe in early July.  This online limited edition crystal figurine will not be available in stores, so look for an email notice when she is officially available.

Crystal Exchange America has a large selection of retired limited online edition Mos prior to the 2012 releases for collectors seeking those discontinued Mos.  At their website, to find Swarovski Lovlots, navigate downward in the menu on the left side of the screen to the Lovlots and Zodiac category.

May 302012

May 29, 2012, our favorite crystal brand officially released the Swarovski Bubble Mo for purchase in their online shoppe.

The Swarovski Mo herd is excited to welcome the new blue cow to the Lovlots family.  The Mo Herd presently consists of….

Swarovski Bubble Mo, New Blue Cow

Swarovski Bubble Mo, Lovlots Blue Cow, Limited Edition 2012

  • Swarovski Alabaster Mo (2007 Exclusive Edition)
  • Swarovski Belle Mo (2010 – 2012)
  • Swarovski Bubble Mo, Limited Edition 2012
  • Swarovski Charming Mo, Limited Edition 2011
  • Swarovski Country Mos, Limited Edition 2010
  • Swarovski Flower Mo, Limited Edition 2009
  • Swarovski Glamour Mos, Limited Edition 2010
  • Swarovski Halloween Mo, Limited Edition 2009
  • Swarovski Lucky Mo, Limited Edition 2012
  • Swarovski Missy Mo (2006 – 2012)
  • Swarovski Missy Mo, Large (2006 – 2009)
  • Swarovski Pinky Mo, Limited Edition 2007
  • Swarovski Santa Mo, Limited Edition 2011
  • Swarovski Soccer Mo, Limited Edition 2008
  • Swarovski Sunshine Mo, Limited Edition 2011

On the crystal brand’s web site, they state that Limited Edition Swarovski Bubble Mo will be limited to 10 per person.  This guideline is in place to ensure that many collectors can purchase them directly from Swarovski at original retail price of $65.  If there were no maximum quantity in place (as has long been the practice on the Swarovski Mo figurines), they can be quickly found in the online auctions at higher prices, which does not make dedicated collectors very happy.

Swarovski Bubble Mo blue cow is about 1 ¾” height.  The company uses these colors in their official product description: Scuba Blue, Air Blue Opal, and Lavender crystal.  Swarovski mentions that the laser engraved bubbles are symbolic of “bubbles of excitement” in the product description.

Collectors wanting any of the retired or discontinued cow Swarovski Mo figurines can likely find them at Crystal Exchange America in the ‘Lovlots and Zodiac’ category of the store.

I’m placing my order today for the Limited Edition Lovlots Bubble Mo.  I hope she is as cute in person as she looks online!

Apr 252012

Yesterday, I found an update on the crystal brand’s web site regarding the launch date of the upcoming Limited Edition Swarovski Bubble Mo.  The company has announced to its SCS members that the 2012 Limited Edition Bubble Mo will be available for purchase in the online shoppe May 29.

Lovlots Limited Edition Bubble Mo by Swarovski

Swarovski Lovlots Limited Edition Bubble Mo

Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo is about 1 ¾” in height.  The company uses these colors in their official product description: Scuba Blue, Air Blue Opal, and Lavender crystal.  Swarovski mentions that the laser engraved bubbles are symbolic of “bubbles of joy” in the SCS news, and calls them “bubbles of excitement” in the product description.

Swarovski states in their announcement, that the Swarovski Bubble Mo blue cow figurines will be limited to 10 per person.  But don’t forget, there is only one Swarovski certificate per online order (modification in 2011), so if you desire a certificate for each Limited Edition Bubble Mo (which may not be a bad idea at all!), collectors should purchase one Bubble Mo per order.  Just remember, if you order one crystal figurine per order, additional shipping charges may be applied to the order.

The Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo (blue cow) and Swarovski Lovlots Lucky Mo (green cow) are both Limited Editions that are only available in 2012, hence retiring at the end of the year if not sold out prior to that date.  There are about 15 Swarovski Lovlots figurines that are retiring in 2012.  Other Lovlots may be slated for retirement later in the year, but those figurines (if any) have not yet been announced.  These Swarovski Lovlots Retirements can be found at www.RetiredSwarovski.com in the Swarovski Lovlots product line (down the left side of the browser window).

Apr 212012

Swarovski recently released the list of crystal figurines that will retire in the first half of 2012.  Over 40 Swarovski figurines are slated to be officially discontinued beginning January through June of this year.  With this Swarovski news, the popular website, RetiredSwarovski.com has now posted the complete list in the Swarovski Retiring Soon section of the web site.  This page of the web site includes links to the crystal figurines in the Swarovski shoppe to make shopping easy for collectors.

Swarovski Black Diamond Woodpecker Retires in 2012

Swarovski Black Diamond Woodpecker Retires in 2012

Some of the retirements are no longer available from the online shoppe.

I was surprised to see many of the Swarovski Lovlots Circus figurines in the list, as they only launched about 1 year ago.

Some of the longest running Swarovski figurines on the list that will no longer be produced includes:

  • Swarovski Squirrel, introduced in 1985
  • Swarovski Beagle, introduced in 1990
  • Swarovski Baby Elephant, introduced in 1995
  • Swarovski Ladybird, introduced in 1995

A couple of the Swarovski figurines retiring have colored versions that are replacing them.  This seems to be a new way to re-introduce figurines.  Kristall Buzz featured an article about this trend on Swarovski Clear Crystal Figurines in February, 2011.

  • Swarovski Mandarin Ducks – Clear: 2006 through 2012; Topaz: introduced in 2010 and still current in 2012.
  • Swarovski Tortoises, Baby (Set of 2) – Clear: 1998 through 2012; Golden Shadow: introduced in 2012.

If any of the 2012 retirements are on your wish list, get them before they become too hard to find, and a premium price must be paid to obtain them!  CrystalExhange.com has a huge list of retired Swarovski figurines, so crystal collectors should check out this site if the desired figurine is no longer available on-line or in stores.

Apr 172012

Yesterday, I came across this Swarovski blue cow (by accident I must say) on the crystal brand’s web site: Swarovski Bubble Mo!  This discovery was quite the surprise!

Swarovski Bubble Mo, Lovlots Limited Online Edition

Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo, LE 2012

According to the product description, Swarovski Bubble Mo will be an online exclusive that will retail for $65 USD.  The blue bubble decorations are laser engraved into the crystal, not tiny decals like some of the other decorations on the limited edition mo figurines.  While the Lovlots Bubble Mo will be available only in 2012, I did not see any information on the launch date.

The crystal brand produced one other blue cow: Swarovski Belle Mo.  This Lovlots blue cow officially retires in 2012, but it does appear that it is no longer available in Swarovski’s online shoppe.

The Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo is one of several Limited Online Edition Mo figurines.  Other Swarovski Limited Online Edition Mos include:

So let’s give a this Lovlots blue cow, Swarovski Bubble Mo, a warm welcome to the “Lovlots Mo herd”!

Crystal Exchange America has more details about Swarovski Lovlots Mos special editions.  If you are looking specifically for the Swarovski Limited Edition Mo figurines, they can be found in the Limited Edition Swarovski category of this online store.

Apr 162012

Other Swarovski Panthers available for purchase from the crystal brand include:

  1. Swarovski Soulmate Panther (clear) – 9600 000 074 / 874 337.  Introduced in 2007 and retired in 2011.

  3. Swarovski Soulmate Moroda Panther (moroda) – 1096051.  New release for 2011.
  4. Swarovski Soulmate Limited Online Edition Orange Shine Panther (copper-like) – 1096050. Introduced and sold out in 2011.

The Limited Edition Black Panther (500 units) sold out in under 48 hours according to the Swarovski web site.  The Limited Edition Orange Shine Panther (888 units) took about 3 months to sell out.

The designer for the Swarovski Soulmate Panther figurines is Heinz Tabertshofer.  All the crystal figurines are fully faceted animals attached to black spot granite bases.  The online limited editions (black and orange shine panthers) are engraved in the granite base with a unique # and the words “limited online edition”.

The Limited Edition Black Panther has been trading at favorable pricing to the seller on the secondary market, with selling prices in the $2900 to $3300 range.  The Limited Edition Orange Shine Panther has been trading prices very close to original retail price….$1200 – $1400.

I’m sure that crystal fanatics wish they had a crystal ball (pardon the pun) to know how this one is going to sell in the future…buy only one for their collection, or buy several in hopes of making a few bucks?  (Reminder….Swarovski indicates on their web site that quantities are limited to 3 per person).  I have purchased mine (just one).  One thing for sure…you’ll want place your order now, so that you won’t have to pay secondary market prices to add this Swarovski Limited Edition to your crystal collection later.
